Oscar-winning music director, singer, and songwriter AR Rahman is celebrating his 56th birthday on Friday and he took to Twitter to make an announcement concerning the launch of his digital platform ‘Katraar’.

Born on January 6, 1967, the ace musician is opening up new avenues for rising artists and his digital music platform is the place musical artists can instantly add their creations and earn from them.

Rahman may even be releasing a few of his unique creations by way of the Katraar platform.

He shared a video and wrote: “I’m excited to announce today-KATRAAR, the #metaverse platform currently in development, is one step closer to launching. And I look forward to sharing this journey with you all.”

AR Rahman is understood for giving music in quite a lot of movies and likewise for worldwide collaborations. He was observed by director Mani Ratnam and Rahman began scoring for his Tamil movie ‘Roja’. Later, he labored for ‘Bombay’ as properly. He gained two Oscar awards.
