Rajkummar Rao calls Badhaai Do a ‘whirlpool of emotions’, reveals first response

Rajkummar Rao is all set to entertain the viewers with comedy-drama Badhaai Do alongside Bhumi Pednekar. The film’s trailer has already taken the web by storm and followers can’t await it to launch. In a brand new interview, Rajkummar Rao revealed his first response on listening to the script including that the upcoming movie is a whirlpool of feelings.

Speaking to ETimes, the actor stated that he’s assured folks will be capable of connect to quite a lot of stuff in Badhaai Do, past the enjoyable and expertise of the film.

Further, the ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ actor revealed his first response and stated that he seen it was a splendidly crafted script, with nice construction and screenplay. He felt the steadiness between the humour and the delicate facet of feelings and drama was nice, too.

Talking about his character within the movie, Rajkummar stated that this is without doubt one of the most layered characters that he has portrayed. “Of course, the humour aspect is most noticeable, but there’s so much more that’s going on within him. We just wanted to normalise his sexuality, we never wanted to focus on just the part that he’s gay. There’s so much more to him than that. It was really fun playing Shardul. It was a challenging character, too. That muscular physique wasn’t easy, plus working with Harsh, it’s never that easy,” he shared. 

Apart from Badhai Do with Bhumi Pednekar, the actor additionally has a number of tasks lined up. He can even be seen in Mr & Mrs Mahi with Janhvi Kapoor.
