It has been quite some time that we have been hearing buzz of new Hyundai Verna. Earlier it was stated that Verna will be launched at the end of 2017, but if the latest news are to be believe it is expected to be launched on 22nd August 2017.
Hyundai dealers have commented that the new generation Verna is expected to be launched on 22nd August in India, while bookings at select outlets have started as well. Nominal booking amount (around Rs 25,000) will be charged to customers who are looking forward to book this new age car. As per other reports Hyundai has not specified exact date but has indicated the launch date to be end of August. Deliveries of the booked car are expected almost immediately after the launch at-least in all major cities.
Looking back at history, this C-segment sedan performed really well against the segment best seller Honda City. It is to be noted that Honda city has launched its uplift version couple of months ago and it would be interesting to see how the new Verna will match up to the competition.
The 2017 Hyundai Verna will be a major upgrade over the outgoing model both internally as well as externally. Hyundai Verna sedan will borrow design cues from its elder sibling Elantra and follows Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design philosophy. The upcoming Hyundai Verna will feature new mild hybrid technology, projector lamps with daytime running lights with LED, leather upholstery, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay infotainment system, and a sunroof in the top variants. While we expect all that, we shall wait for the final verdict at the once the car is launched.
|Base Variant||Expected Rs 9 Lakh|
|Top Variant||Expected Rs 14 Lakh|
Stay tuned to get more updates on the Verna 2017 launch.
